Question:-

What is correct order of seprating salt, sand and camphor from mixture.

Answer:-

Option C :- Dissolution in water , filtration and sublimation .

Explanation:-

  • Seprating salt from mixture:-

Since , salt is an ionic compound and easily dissolve in water. So,we seprate salt by dissolving the solution in water But both Sand and camphor is uneffected .

  • Seprating Sand from mixture :-

Sand is a particle which is bigger in size and cannot pass through our the filter paper so,we separate sand from mixture by filtration and sand is left at residue in filter paper.

  • Seprating Camphor from mixture:-

Camphor is a sublime substance i.e,It converts directly in to vapour by heating.

When we use the process of sublimation the camphor get convert in to gasesous state and it can obtained back by solidification of camphor vapours.

hence, correct order for seprating mixture is option C.
