⭕️The stable balance of attractive and repulsive forces between atoms while sharing electrons is known as covalent bonding.

⭕️A covalent compound is a compound in which the atoms that are bonded share electrons than transfer of electrons from one to the other.

⭕️but ionic compounds are formed when metals bond to nonmetals, covalent compounds are formed when two nonmetals bond to each other.
