HEY FRND ☺☺✌✋
THE BONDS WHICH FORMED BY THE SHARING OF AN ELECTRON PAIR BETWEEN THE ATOMS EITHER SAME OR DIFFERENT ATOMS ARE KNOWN AS COVALENT BOND .
SOME MORE EXAPLNATION ARE
1)IT COULD LOSE 4 ELETRONS AND FORM C4+ CATION. BUT A LARGE AMOUNT OF ANGRY IS REQUIRED TO REMOVE 4 ELECTRONS LEAVING BEHIND A CARBON WITH 6 PROTONS IN ITS NUCLEUS HOLDING ON JUST TWO ELECTRONS TOGETHER WHICH US NOT POSSIBLE.
2) IT COULD GAIN 4 ELECTRONS AND CAN FORM C4- ANION. BUT FOR A NUCLEUS HAVING 6 PROTONS , IT WOULD BE DIFFERENT TO HOLD ON 10 ELECTRONS 4 EXTRA ELECTRONS. ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺✌✌✋HOPE THIS HELPS U....
