\huge\textbf{Critical Angle :}

The angle of incidence for which the angle of refraction becomes 90°.

i.e.

\frac{sin\:i}{sin\:r} = μ1 ÷ μ2

If i = c1 and r = 90°

Therefore,

\frac{sin\:C}{sin\:90°} = 1 ÷ μ

Now sin 90° = 1

So,

sin C = 1 ÷ μ
