Crops:- When same kinds of crops are cultivated on a large scale is called crops.

☆ On the basis of seasons crops are classified into :-

• Rabi crops :- Crops which are sown in winter season.
• kharif crops :- Crops which are sown in rainy season.

☆ On the basis of lifecycle crops are classified into :-

• Annual:- An annual plant completes its life cycle within a year. Example:- marigold, petunia, watermelon, etc
• perennial:- Perrinials live on for more than two growing seasons. Example:- Rose, guava, bamboo, etc
• Biennial:- Biennial are plants that complete their life cycle in two years. Example:- Cabbage, Onion, Carnation, etc.
