1)The cranium is the part of our skull that encloses the brain. The cranium is composed of eight different bones: occipital bone - protects the back of your brain and supports your head. temporal bones (2 bones) - protect the sides of your brain and support your face.

2)The function of cranium is to house and protect the brain. Other 14 bones form the face and are called facial bones. All the bones of the skull except the lower jaw bone form a rigid structure
