Cutin- It is found on outer wall of epidermal cell.
•It is waxy in nature.
•It is impermeable to water.
•It reduce the loss of water due to transpiration.
•Deposition of cutin on cell wall is known as cutticle.
Pit- Pits are unthickned area in the secondary wall (which is very hard and thick) of plant cells.
•A pit is made up of two parts and overall function of them is transportation of water and minerals.

Explanation:
