JOHN DALTON PROPOSED THE FIRST DEFINITE THEORY ABOUT ATOMS
HIS LAW WAS BASED ON THE CHEMICAL LAWS OF COMBINATION WHICH CAME INTO EXISTENCE THROUGH THE EXPERIMENTS CARRIED BY ANTOINE LAVOISIER AND JOSEPH PROUST.THE TWO QUANTITATIVE LAWS OF CHEMICAL COMBINATION ARE LAWS F CONSERVATION OF MASS AND LAWS OF DEFINITE PROPORTION.

DALTON'S ATOMIC THEORY
Mass is neither created ornordestroyed during a chemical reaction.This theory is also known as law of conservation of mass.
