unorganised raw facts and figures given to a computer called data
information refers to meaningful processed data.

Data refers to unprocessed raw facts or figures which are given to the computer...
WHEREAS
Information refers to the processed facts and figures which we get as output from the computer.

For example..... 3+2 is data
BUT..... 5. is information
