pls explain the friendship of antonio and bassanio on the basis that we grant favors to our friends even when we know that they would never repay us

antonio and bassanio were very goodfriends ,he always helped him(b) in the time when he need money and by this he trapped into plan of shylock and later portia wife of bassanio helped him to save his life by disguising as a judge , so in this if we help our friends then obviously in one or another way they will also help
