Decomposers are micro organisms such as bacteria and fungi that obtain nutrient by breaking down the remains of dead plants and animals.
Problems arises in absence of decomposers in an ecosystem are:
1. Decomposition of garbage as well as dead plants and animals will not take place.
2. Natural replenishment of soil will not take place.
