Deforestation means irrational cutting of forests or plants from same regions reduction of forests is the result of human effort.

Consequences

Deforestation affects wild animals, plants and humans in at least for distinct ways : via soil erosion, which can lead to clogged waterways and other problems; via water cycle disruption, which can lead to desertification and habitat loss; via greenhouse gas emissions, which contribute to global climate change.

The cutting of trees rapid ly is called deforestation .

Explanation :

Now a days for human needs like settlement , making building , factories , industry etc man cutting tree without thinking . Agricultural land is also development to used this lands for making building ,factories , industry , community place etc . Due to deforestation many species of animals are extinct and large amount of pollution having in our atmosphere. If we plant trees afforestation then pollution going on decreasing and many animals get home for their living.
