What is Deflecting couple in a DC Motor

The deflecting couple helps in the rotation of the armature of the coil.When the deflecting couple is max ex=when the plane of coil is parallel to the direction of magnetic field the coil doesn't move aa both the magnetic field nd the current will be parallel there be no force acting on the coil.
