What is dehydration reaction? What is dehydrating agent? please answer me fast. It's important.

The removal of H2O or water is called the dehydration reaction.

A substance that evaporates or removes the water from the solution is called dehydrating agent.

like in the esterification reaction the substances  as the reactants are dehydrated and H2SO4 is added in it as a dehydrating agent.

dehydration reaction is the reaction in which saturated compounds or hydrocarbons are converted to unsaturated compounds or hydrocarbons
the dehydrating agent is concentrated sulphuric acid
