Democracy is the ruling system of capitalism.Democracy linguistically ruling by the mob (people).The basic principle behind democracy is that since everybody is free and if a single person will make the rules then why the other people have to accept his rules. So everybody will make the rule for the society after consent that is why after the rule has been made no one will object this rule since the rule is made by them.
Main features of democracy are:
◇Independent judiciary: Independence of Judiciary is an essential characteristic of democracy. Judiciary must be free from any control of the executive or the legislature. Judges must be honest and should deliver justice impartially.
◇Elected representative:In democracy representatives elected by the people make laws and frame policies of the government.

Its main features are
1)People choose the govenment by own.
2)Elections are held after regular interval of time (5 yrs. in India). so that people can change the goverment if they dislike its works.
3)Any decision that is made by goverenment is made after majority of the members mark it right and not by a single person.
4)The judiciary is independent.
