democracy is a form of govt. in which rulers are elected by the people. it comes from greek word demokratia demo means people and kratia means to rule. it is to the people for the people and by the people.
we need democracy for good governanace of the country.
to maintain civic life of the people.
to run the country sofltly.
people can form independent trade unions
no one is permanent looser and no one is permanent winner
rulers keep changing after5years in democracy
