Density of population is defined as people living in an area per km2.
Arunachal Pradesh has the lowest density and West Bengal has the highest density in India.
The growing population affects environment in a lot manner. They build more and more industries to pollute air. They build more and more institutions, bungalows by cutting the trees. They fire the forests. They even hunt the animals. They pollute through air, noise and water by segregating waste and more producing effect.
Increase in population decrease many useful resource which can be exhausted such as forests, wildlife, coal, petroleum, etc. It harms a lot to environment
