Do a lot of physical activities and dont think so much. Do what you are doing like if you are in party and thinking that I have to complete my Physics home work you will be distracted by this. In other words focus 100%. Talk to people who had faced that particular problem which is making you depressed. This will help you to find new way to overcome that problem.
