Hey there,

Detorsion is made up of two words :-

De + Torsion.
Here, De means removal

So, Removal of torsion is Detorsion.
Or
We can say that, reversal and rotation of the mantle or the shell at 180° with respect to the head and the foot of the gastrpod.
