what is difference b/w pressure group and political party

the main aim of a pressure group is to influence the goverment or political power

while the aim of political party is to gain seats in parliament or we can say gain the title of government..

Pressure group :- it is an in organised group that does not put up candidates for election, but seeks to influence government policy or legislation.

Political party :- is a group of people who come together to contest elections and hold power in the government.
