Solid fill applies a single color uniformly within the whole of an object. Gradient fill applies a continuous blend of two or more colors, where one color gradually fades and changes into another.

Answer:
SOLID FILL
Solid fill applies a single color evenly to the entire object.
There are four types of spot colors you can apply:
- Theme Color is a set of colors based on the active theme applied to your presentation.
- Default Color is a set of 10 colors most commonly used by other users.
- Other Used Colors is a set of the colors you used recently.
- Advanced Color Palette includes multiple color schemes that allow you to customize the color palette to suit your brand and business.
GRADIENT FILL
- A gradient fill is a shape fill that gradually changes from one color to another on the shape's surface. A shape fill that gradually changes between three colors.
There are three types of gradient styles available:
- Linear - A linear gradient is usually the most common, in which two or more colors appear and blend at opposite points along the slide's horizontal or vertical diagonals.
- Radial - A radial gradient creates an effect where the transition between two or more color stops occurs in a circular pattern, with colors starting from a central position and then blending with other colors toward the edge of the slide.
- Angle - An angle gradient creates an effect where the transition appears between two or more color stops based on the direction set with the dial and various angle values.
