Difference between acrylic paints and fabric paints?
Fabric paint is a type of acrylic that can be heat set. This heat setting increases the strength of the bond, so it makes it more resistant to washing.
Golden GAC-900 polymer can be added to artists acrylic and heat set to make unique paintings on clothing.
There is a whole other type of of fabric paint... ink really. Its called plastisol.
Professional screen printers use this for creating tee-shirt graphics and players name and number on sports jerseys. Plastisol is preferred for screen printers because it doesn’t set on its own, stays wet until heat-set, wont clog the screen.
