what is difference between binary and multiple fission

Binary fission takes place in single celled organism as we understand by the word binary for eg.amoeba
multiplied fission takes place in multi celled organisms as we can understand by the word multiple. For eg. protozoa

BINARY FISSION :-

1. it occurs when the environment condition is favourable for the organism

2. There is no protection covering formed outside the cell.

3. Only two new organism are formed by this type of reproduction.

MULTIPLE FISSION:-

1. it occurs when the environment condition are unfavourable for the organism.

2. A protection covering called cyst is formed outside the cell.

3. Many new individual are formed by this type of reproduction.
