What is difference between boiling point and evaporation?

Evaporation is the process of changing water in to gaseous form i.e vapour whereas boiling point is the particular point or temperature at which a liquid changes into gaseous form..

In boiling 1 it takes place at a difinite temperature called boiling point. 2 It is a fast process. 3 Boiling can be seen. 4 It occurs throughout the mass of the liquid.

Evapouration 1 It takes place at all temperatures below the boiling point. 2 It is a slow process. 3 Evapouration cannot be seen. 4 It occurs throughout the layers of the liquid
