in centripetal force the body acts towards the circular path while in centrifugal force the body acts away from the circular path.

Centripetal force is the force that acts towards the centre of a circle..... And centrifugal force acts away from the centre..... For example a string with stone rotated around a centre.... At that time both the forces act on it.... I hope it helps u ✌
