what is difference between copying and cropping the picture

Resizing and scaling is the same U just change the size of image . Smaller the size of image R created by subsampling N bigger image by interpolation . Cropping is a rectangular part which we need to cut

In copying, it creates an exact similar duplicate of the original picture.

whereas in cropping, it reduces the frame size of the picture so that it can be fit to a required resolution.
