When a Radical displaces another radical from it's compound , it is known as displacement reaction.
Example: Fe2O3 + 2Al ------->Al2O3 + 2Fe + Heat.

When two radicals mutually exchange their positions, it is known as double displacement reaction.
Example: Na2SO4 + BaCl2 ------>BaSO4 + 2NaCl.
