The reaction which evolves heat after the reaction is known as exothermic reaction but the reaction which need or which require heat during reaction is known as endothermic reaction...

Endothermic reaction is a process in which the system absorbs energy from its surroundings whereas exothermic reaction is a process in which it releases energy by light or heat.
