What is difference between G and g in physics?

G means gravitational constant. It's value is 6.67384 × 10-11 m3 kg-1 s-2

g refers to acceleration due to gravity.its value is 9.8 m/s^2

The difference are:
i) G is the Gravitational constant whereas g is the acceleration due to gravity.

ii) The value of G is 6.67×10⁻¹¹ N m²/kg²  and value of g  is 9.8 m/s².
