What is difference between heredity and evolution?

heredity : the transmission of traits ( characters) from parents to their offspring (child) is called heredity . actually the heredity information present in sex cells of the parents . thus, gametes constitutes the link between one generation and the next , pass on their parental ( father) and maternal(mother) characters to the offspring .
Evolution: evolution is sequence of gradual changes which take place in the primitive organisms over millions of years in which new species are produced, for ex: an animal is crawled on ground evolved in flying animal.

Heredity is the passing of traits from the parental to offspring through process of sharing genetic information where as evolution is the gradual changes in the heritable characters of a biological population over a successive generations. ...
