Hey mate!!

here's your answer....

»Several representations of "kilometres per hour" have been used since the term was introduced and many are still in use today; for example, dictionaries list "km/h", "kmph" and "km/hr" as English abbreviations.

The SI representations, classified as symbols, are "km/h", "km h−1" and "km.

and I expect you to know that km is a SI unit of distance .

Km (Kilometer) is a unit of measurements while kmph (kilometer per hour) is a unit of speed.

Km is used to denote the distance between two or more points. For example: My friends home is 2 km away from my home.

And kmph is used to denote the speed of a moving body and how many km it travels in an hour, it can also be written in km/h, so don't get confused between those. For example: speed of a car is 30 kmph or km/h then the car travels a distance of 30 km in an hour.
