Longitude is a vertical imaginary line on the earth's surface while latitude is a horizontal imaginary line on the earth's surface.

》LATITUDE;

These are the imaginary lines drawn parallel to the equater. Measured as an angle whoes appex is at the center of the earth.

》LONGITUDE;

It is the angular distance measued from the centre of the Earth. There are 360° merdians of longitude. The prime merdian is a longitude of 0° , passing through the Royal Observatory at Greenwich near LONDON.
