here is an very easy answer to show the differences between metals and non metals.

Metals :

  1. They have lustre
  2. They are ductile.
  3. They are malleable
  4. they conduct heat and electricity
  5. They are sonorous.

Non Metals:

  1. They are not Lustrous.
  2. They are non ductile.
  3. Non malleable
  4. Poor conductors of heat and electricity.
  5. They are non sonorous.
