what is difference between scalor and vector quantity


Gahlyan: scalar quantity has only magnitude but vector quantity has both magnitude as well as direction

Scalar... Requires magnitude only
.....Eg Distance Length
Vector.... requires both magnitude and direction
....Eg... Displacement Force
