DDR(double data rate) is a type of fast, expensive, volatile Random access Memory (RAM).it is closely connected to CPU for very fast transfers.it is 10-30x
faster than SSD ans 50-70x faster than HDD...
a Solis State Drive(SSD) is much faster than a hard disc drive ,but it is more expensive per gigabyte of storage .it has no moving parts and is more rugged ,not subject to crashing due to dumping or dropping. it is connected to the CPU with a bus,which is a slower connection than the CPU to RAM connection..
