FORCE-It is a push or pull acting on an object. It makes an still object move

FRICTION-It stops any kind of force coming it makes stops the moving object.

sha30: y ???? cant force make a moving object to stop??
vyas03: yes Force can do that so that only these type of forces are named as frictional force
harnaz: tbanks
harnaz: thanks
vyas03: which is nothing but friction
sha30: Actually frictional force is the force which comes into operation when two surfaces show or tend to show relative motion
vyas03: yes
sha30: like every father is a son but every son need not to be a father......although both r humans......similarly.....every friction is a force but every force is not a friction....although both have newton as their SI unit
vyas03: oh sorry I didn't mention in my answer at some cases

push or pull of an object is called as force
and friction is a force which acts opposite to the force of a body
the s. I unit of force and friction is Newton(N)
hope it helps you

sha30: no....the frictional force always acts on both...suppose u slide a book on table to right....frictional force acts on both book and on table......3rd law.....on book friction will b towards left and on table towards right
harnaz: ohhh
vyas03: yes ob
vyas03: obvious
sha30: Thanx vyas....i have seen many answers marked as brainly....but in the language of physics the answer is zero....so some time i love to discuss.
sha30: and i should feel happy both in teaching and learning as well
vyas03: ya it's nice to discuss with you too
vyas03: thank you for your pleasant time
sha30: thanx a lot
vyas03: same to you
