(1)As individuals we depend on each other our entire lives whether via parents raising us or everybody else working to uphold our community, society or country.
(2) No nation can be totally self-sufficient. A need exists for trade among nations for the goods and services as well as the resources needed to survive and grow in the global community.
(3) The interdependence between nations is on a much larger scale. India is deficient in the petroleum products; whereas the countries in West Asia have surplus petroleum products. Thus, India depends on West Asian countries for the petroleum products and has to pay huge sums in foreign exchange for the imports.
