TSA means total surface area
IT is used when u want to find area of whole solid...
CSA means curved surface area
it is used when you want to find area leaving bases of solids...
** we add bases when we are talking about some solids that have curved area along with floor or roof.
for e.g. u want to whit wash a room ... u will add base onto it because it's common sense that we don't whit wash the floor...
