EXTENSIVE PROPERTIES :

An extensive property is a property whose value depends on the quantity or size of matter present in the system .
For example : mass , volume , heat capacity and enthalpy etc.
INTENSIVE PROPERTIES :

Those property which do not depend on the quantity or size of matter present in it .
For example : temperature , density and pressure etc.

Extensive properties, such as mass and volume, depend on the amount of matter being measured. Intensive properties, such as density and color, do not depend on the amount of the substance present. Physical propertiescan be measured without changing a substance's chemical identity.
