Quantum numbers describe values of conserved quantities in the dynamics of a quantum system. In the case of electrons, the quantum numbers can be defined as "the sets of numerical values which give acceptable solutions to the Schrödinger wave equation for the hydrogen atom

Yes there is difference between quantum numbers. there are  4 types of quantum number.1] Principal Quantum Number 2]Azimutal quantum number 3]Magnetic quantum number 4]Spin  quantum number.

1] Principal Quantum Number : the size of the orbital and energy level, energy of the orbital, denoted by n. This number therefore has a dependence only on the distance between the electron and the nucleus

2]Azimutal quantum number: the shape of the orbital , denoted by l. The second quantum number, known as the angular quantum number.strongly influences chemical bonds and bond angles.

3]Magnetic quantum number: orientation of the orbital, denoted by ml.The p subshell contains three orbitals.

4]Spin  quantum number :     orientation of the spin orbital, denoted by ms, ms= +1/2 or -1/2. Each electron in any individual orbital must have different spins because of the Pauli exclusion principle
