In ducts, look for (usually) a cuboidal to columnar epithelium with connective tissue directly beneath it. In blood vessels, look for a simple squamous epithelium, a layer of smooth muscle (tunica media) deep to that (except in capillaries), and then a layer of loose connective tissue (tunica externa). Vessels may also have blood cells in the lumen. Capillaries are very small, about the diameter of one RBC, so I don’t think they could be confused with any gland ducts even aside from the epithelial type. Small venules may lack the tunica media and externa but still have a simple squamous endothelium.
