frequency means number of oscillatios in 1 second

intensity means no. of oscillatios in 1 second in a specific unit area

amoghpatil407: intensity is loudness so frequency is what
anupamacm8888: Frequency is the oscillations per unit time which mainly determines shrillness or the pitch of sound
amoghpatil407: oh understood. thanks a lot

1)Intensity of sound is the energy per unit area per unit time or power per unit area. Frequency is the nunmber of oscillations per unit time.

I=E/A*T or I=P/A

f=1/T

2)Increase in intensity increases loudness while increase in frequency increases pitch
