Both the animals and fungi has heterotrophic mode of nutrition. The animals are the consumers of the ecosystem instead the fungi have wide range of nutrition from the parasites to the saprophytes mode. Animals have multicellular organization but fungi need not always be multicellular may be unicellular also.
