\textbf{Distillation}:

The process by which a pure liquid is separated from a solid-liquid mixture, whether the homogeneous or heterogeneous is called distillation.

For example, liquids whose boiling point differ by atleast 25°C can be separted by it.

\textbf{Separating by funnel or separting funnel }:

A separating funnel consists of a glass balls treated with the stop clock in its stem. It is used to separate the components of the mixture of two or more than immiscible liquids.

For example, mixture of oil and water can be separated by this process.
