Diffusion can be defined with two meanings:

1. Diffusion is the process in which a substance gets dissolved into the solvent. Eg - The sugar gets diffused in the water.

2. Diffusion is a spontaneous movement of substances from a region of high pressure to a region of low pressure.

Sublimation :

The process by which the solid gets converted into gas without passing through liquid state.
