Hey Friend,

The movement of molecules of a substance from a region of its higher concentration to the region of lower concentration is called diffusion.

Examples -

1. When perfume is sprayed in one corner of a room, it can be smelled in other corners of the house.

2. Sugar added to cup of tea dissolves in tea and sweetness is spread evenly throughout the tea.

In both the cases, the molecules move from higher concentration region to lower one..spreading the molecules uniformly.

Hope it helps!
