Dimerization is the process in where two (di) of something interact and become joined. This can be covalently or through non-covalent interactions. Since you ask specifically about hydrogen bonding, I'm guessing you are interested in this part.

Heyaa folk,

Dimerisation :

Dimerisation term is directly belongs to chemistry. It contains to similar monomers.

It is joined with specific chemical bonds. They can be either weak or strong. When the compounds formed by combination two molecules which are like i.e. same.

For example, nitrogen tetroxide N2O4 is the dimer of nitrogen dioxide NO2.

Hope it helps u :)
