DIRECT DEMOCRACY :

• Direct Democracy is a government in which people elect their rulers directly.

• This is done through the direct Democracy devices.

• There are 4 direct Democracy devices. They are Plebiscite, Intiative, Referendum and Recall.

• This Democracy is suitable for small countries. Ex : Switzerland.

INDIRECT DEMOCRACY :

• Indirect Democracy is a government in which people elect the rulers indirectly.

• As, people elect the representatives and these representatives elect the rulers.

• Representatives are the electors in this Democracy.

• This is suitable for large countries. Ex : India.
