Hey!

Displacement reaction is a reaction in which an atom, or a group of atoms present in a molecule is displayed by another atom.

Example:-

Cu(s) + CuSO4(aq) ---> Cu(s) + FeSO4(aq)

The Reaction in which the more reactive element displaces the less reactive element.

For eg. Fe(s)+ CuSo4(aq)===> FeSo4(aq)+Cu(s)
