"Dot Product" or scalar product is the product of two vector quantities to form a scalar quantity. if there are two vectors A→ and B→, making an angle α with each other, then their Dot Product will be: |A→|×|B→|×cos(α), where |A→| and |B→| are the vectors' magnitudes.

Assume two vectors A=ai+bj+ck, B=pi+qj+rk Then dot product of A and B =A.B=a×p+b×q+c×r Where i,j,k are unit vectors along x,y,z axes respectively

VISA006: Yes, and mention that i, j, and k are the unit vectors for x, y, and z axes respectively
anudeepnarayanavanam: Ok thanks
